PLC

This section describes the communication from the crane PLC to Cranium and vice versa. The connection to the PLC is Cranium's most important interface and, with a few exceptions, must be implemented on the crane PLC side in almost every application.

Suppose you use Cranium with proximity sensors to monitor the crane track and are only interested in digital inputs and outputs. In that case, you do not need to integrate the PLC interface.
