If the built-in TCP connection is insufficient for PLC communication due to specific project limitations, this module adds support for the Fieldbus protocols Profinet, Profibus, and CANopen.

tip

We recommend integrating Cranium into the PLC via TCP/IP. A Fieldbus protocol should only be used for special applications where standard Ethernet protocols are not readily possible.
